This body will weigh down by judgments.
The scars too will be mocked and questioned.
The flab will be disgusted and hated.
Cursing the periods, while thinking, you should’ve gone out or waited.

The stretch marks will invade your extra inches,
Leaving signs like tattoos
And one fine day you’ll also have to deal with your sagging boobs.

Perhaps this body will be rejected over the one that’s more healthy, young and new.
But my dear you have to remember,
This body will always belong to you.
This body will remain faithful even when you don't expect it to.

This body will not choose someone else and leave you.
It will absorb their bullying but still believe you.
This body has seen your beginning and this body will make it till the end.
And whatever is broken in between, it will slowly mend.

This body will fight through thick and thin.
This body is the saint in you as well as your sin.
This body is an answer to what you can and cannot do.
And when you almost believe you can't
It’s this body that will carry you.
